Thibault is a french director based in Los Angeles. His work presents a singular combination of directing talent. That rare fusion of visual and narrative storytelling that comes from someone who is already globally known for his work in the GCI/VFX world.
With a VFX resume peopled with A-list directors such as Wong Kar Wai, Rupert Sanders, Olivier Gondry and Phil Joanou, Thibault honed his skills working with and for the very best in the film industry.
His academic pedigree is just as distinctive. A graduate of France’s Supinfocom, his work was soon in competition at Imagina. VFX pioneers BUF quickly snatched him up, where he honed his craft and became a renowned Flame Artist. Next was nearly a decade at Psyop, where he officially began his directing career.
Now as a director, Thibault aims to blend his love of European-inspired cinema with the visual twists that his CGI background provides.
In his minimal spare time, he pursues his ongoing love of photography and short filmmaking, and has also delved into the music industry as a producer.
